respond is a charity and relies on the generosity of private donations and funders.

People with learning disabilities are up to five times more likely to be sexually abused than those who do not have learning disabilities. The effects are usually devastating. Through psychotherapy, group therapy, education and training, we work with clients and professionals to facilitate recovery and healing from trauma. We are still the only organisation in the which focuses on providing this specialist service, but we rely on charitable donations to sustain our work.
